LME is not even mentioned
Every where I look online  to find LME it is never mentioned on any website but stockhouse or Reddit

I would love to hear Doug's response to this, or more importantly, Cynthia. I wish Cynthia would do some interviews or a Q&A with her investors. Pretty much every CEO of these major and minor mining companies speak to their investors and try to give them reassurance and confidence with the direction of the company.  We don't hear anything from Cynthia directly unless it's the ...more

I think, and I could be wrong, but I think you have to state inferred and proven MRE numbers to be on that list. i wonder where we're at currently.

https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=v.lme&postid=35956786 a link back to one of DAMs post from earlier this year.  I think theyve at least inferred 4-5m GEOs in the technical report if you do the math but its never expressly stated i dont think...they are way careful about that and theyve repeatedly said they dont want to sell themselves short.  LME is defintiely in ...more

Most of the time when you see junior miners mentioned in social media or by any online mining media source it is because they are sponsored by the host or have paid to be promoted.  When the likes of Agnico Eagle know who you are and have requested geological data, that is the true test of a junior being relevant in the eyes of the senior producers.  Cynthia sees no value in promotion or ...more

Thanks Doug, Are you suggesting that Agnico Eagle has requested geological data from LME?
Comment by DouglasGVass on Sep 24, 2024 1:38pm
I cannot deny or confirm that a few producers have requested geological data.  My point is that you can do all the promotion, paid advertising, Sprott partnerships that you want and in the end that might get you a higher share price but it doesn't help with orchestrating a buyout.

Hi Doug, Curious if you can comment on if there has been any joint relationship between LME and Agnico Eagle in the past?  I know this doesn't mean much but account to ChatGPT ( I know i know) it states that they have expressed interest in the past and interest in joint ventures?  Is there any merit to this?  Or have I missed some sort of relationship in the past? Thanks!

OK am I the only one that thinks this post is INSANE?? Doug, you state you do not have any knowledge of anything going on in behind closed doors nor do you know more than us…then you state, “When the likes of Agnico Eagle know who you are and have requested geological data, that is the true test of a junior being relevant in the eyes of the senior producers.”   Either Doug knows something we ...more

Hummmm... Surprised by that reference in Doug's post at first glance but a couple of thoughts before landing on my "no big deal" conclusion about this one post. I am going to let it go and here's why: 1. The Kinross PEA came out recently and when combined with their maiden MRE and subsequent MRE's that were all above expectations, it seems that Agnico and others would be ...more

it's funny how every time there's a little bit of news or information or nuggets leaked. There's always a wall that pops up at that $.40 mark!
Comment by GoldenBull999 on Sep 25, 2024 11:01am
to me its a red herring. I do not believe LME is being pursued seriously by any gold majors, most of which would require an MRE or probably more drilling for sure.  Sure there is a chance this sells without one to a major but I truly believe private equity through USCG is the route they are taking. To be perfectly honest listening to company representatives is almost useless, look at how its ...more

So why would Doug even mention it?
Comment by GoldenBull999 on Sep 25, 2024 12:49pm
I believe a lot of what he says is a mix of things he hears from Cynthia and also his personal thoughts/wishes/hopes as an investor. Could be wrong but he back peddled pretty quick after his initial post.  who knows. if Agnico Eagle buys LME then ill eat my words lol
Comment by TheWrench55 on Sep 25, 2024 2:22pm
I think you need to re-read Doug's post.  He said "the likes of...have requested geological data".  That is all.  You are really stretching what he said into your thoughts/wishes/hopes.  LOL

And with the FAQ listing previous interest in being aquired of course companies have requested to see the data room, i am sure more than 1 over the last few years have asked to see some more details as they devleoped!

Is there a chance Agnico were the company who made the offer previously which was rejected?
Comment by GoldBelt on Sep 26, 2024 7:08am
Looks like Agnico is actually looking to buy De Grey in Australia. It's building an open pit 10Moz open pit mine ready for 2026.  https://www.theaustralian.com.au/business/dataroom/de-grey-mining-back-in-spotlight-as-agnico-eagle-circles-gold-miner/news-story/aad1b97ed6caf2081bc246affb1ddab5

If AEM is looking to buy De Grey for  a premium above its present $3.2B price for a 10M oz ($320 per Au oz) open pit mining deposit with room for expansion in Australia...how much can LME ask for for a similar type deposit in Canada?  AEM was accessing their data room for a while and submitted their proposal...sounds similar to what may be happening behind the scenes at LME.  ...more

Given the little that we know about LME based off of the Property of Merit and DAM$ / Lambo's estimates, what would be an educated guess of a BO Share price using this acquisition as a benchmark?
Comment by NoRealPlan on Sep 26, 2024 3:54pm
I wish we had indicated and inferred numbers. Untill then, any estimates are just guesses.

Hey Smitty64,   Not DAM or Lambo, and wasn't goig to reply till my daughter gave me a math problem and it kind of fit. TLDR; I don’t know the answer, but I know the cap.   The cap is the cost of a gold ounce times the number of ounces.   I follow four gold companies. I am invested in three. Much has been written on this forum about the Greenstone so I wont ...more

Appreciate this @goldenI!!  Quick math: At 267.5 million diluted shares, if Laurion Mineral Exploration were sold for $500 million, investors would receive approximately $1.87 per share. If the company were sold for $1 billion, they would receive around $3.74 per share. **Remember this is based off of the 5 million ounces from the Property of Merit (with hopes is that here is more)
Comment by Robbi007 on Sep 27, 2024 7:39am
I would be really happy with $3.74 / share right now.

It's a good analysis by Goldenl. I myself have been wondering how things might go differently with a private equity deal. Given the recent news of Cynthia exercising her options and also the rumour that Lambo posted about, that the site has been closed off for a while, I've been wondering if Cynthia has finally gotten enough data to, at the very least, infer 10M GEOs (with the potential ...more

Good morning All and Happy Friday, To clarify some numbers and based on previous discussions on this board.  A BO price we should be looking at approx $350 USD /Oz or approx $500 CDN.  If we go with 5m Oz x $350 ÷271m shares (this incl options outstanding) we are looking at approx $6.46 USD or approx $8.71 cdn. If we go with 10m Oz, same numbers above, we are looking at approx ...more

The longer this deal takes to negotiate, the higher the BO price will be.  If this was a $1b or $2b deal, this would have been wrapped up long ago. As I have state previously, I have confidence in Cynthia and the LME Team.  When the deal gets done, I am positive it will be worth the wait. Just my two cents. TraderRC

No, you are not the only one, however I might say disengenous more than insane. Of course Agnico know who Laurion are, they both have an interest in Canada Nickel Company (CNC). I am sure Agnico would have assesed Laurion as part of their due diligence before legging in to CNC with a $23M investment (Dec 2023) as Laurion and Canadian Goldminer Corp (CGM) have shares and a smelter royalty in CNC ...more
