Lynas Rare Earths Limited is a Malaysia-based company, which is engaged in the extraction and processing of rare earth minerals, primarily in Australia and Malaysia, and development of rare earth deposits. The Company’s assets include Mt Weld, Lynas Malaysia, Kalgoorlie and Lynas USA. Mt Weld is a rare earth mine, located approximately 35-kilometers (km) south of Laverton in Western Australia. Lynas Malaysia is an integrated manufacturing facility, separating and processing rare earths materials, located in the Gebeng Industrial Estate near the Port of Kuantan in Malaysia. Kalgoorlie is a rare earth processing facility which is located in Western Australia. The Company's subsidiaries include Lynas Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Lynas Services Pty Ltd, Mount Weld Holdings Pty Ltd, Mount Weld Mining Pty Ltd, Lynas Africa Holdings Pty Ltd, Lynas Africa Ltd, Lynas USA LLC, and Lynas Kalgoorlie Pty Ltd.

For comparison

For comparisonMP (NYSE), considers itself to be a major competitor to Lynas.
Both have about the the same MC.
Lynas's sales ran about 700 million last year, at close to a 50% margin. P/E is about 7.
MP is projected to have about 50 million in sales this year. Little if any profit. I think their current P/E is negative.
Lynas processes it's own rare earths.
MP has to send theirs to China from what I can tell.
MP trades about 3 million shares a day in the U.S.
LYSCF trades about 50 thousand.
It doesn't make sense to me that both companies have about the same market cap.
Pehaps U.S. investors that want a rare earths play don't even realize that Lynas exists.
