well. another way to look at this is MAT was able to buy at 17.75 because q4 was down 20%. anyways, hopefully you made lots of money on MB.

I think it is a fair deal + MB reported terrible forth quarter results with sales down 20%. If MAT didn't buy MB, this stock would have gone to $10. So I'll take $17.75 any day. MAT is buying

I think the offer is low and I find the Matel products as built by mega very in interesting and don't really spur the consumer, I just don't see it and they should run as far away as possible

the mb manufacturing plant in montreal is a core part of the deal. that plant will be kept and so does the jobs that plant brings. that's why.
