PMI Has Publicly Spoken about MDG
"These very promising results clearly indicate the potential of Medicago's innovative proprietary plant-based VLP vaccine technology," said Doug Dean, Senior Vice President R&D of Philip Morris International (PMI). PMI currently holds 33% of Medicago's outstanding shares.
I like what I am seeing where PMI has for the first time in my memory issued a statement as part of the news release expressing strong support for MDG technology. Thought it is a brilliant idea to use PMI being largest single owner of MDG to elevate the awareness of this company. Much like Imperial Oil is majority owned by ExxonMobil there is strong backing of a reputable stable majortiy ownership. I feel we are moving to where we will now see PMI actively issuing statements in support of MDG commercial steps. PMI knows what is at stake here.
