BULLETPROOF: MEG has SURPASSED USD 600M NET DEBT TARGET !
- they are NOW AT USD 600 million LONG-TERM DEBT
- ALL in the 2029 5.875% Senior UNSECIRED Notes
- they had REACHED the 100% RETURN to shareholders FRAMEWORK on August 22, 2024
- NVA and GFR are the LOGICAL TAKEOVER INDUSTRIAL TARGETS of MEG
- MEG has PLENTY of MEG STOCK CAPITAL and DEBT RUNWAY to MOUNT a SUCCESFUL BUYOUT in a PRUDENT and DEFENSIVE MANNER even while INVESTING in a MODEST GROWTH PROFILE

Would be nice if they put out a press release to note that they have achieved the debt target - some good news to counter the blood bath out there - the energy space is so tough to stomach

About time heck of a move this morning has to be one of the best out there for torque low share float and going lower low debt 100k plus in production and going higher access to tmx for higher oil prices. I think rbc target of $35 is low I'm extremely biased given its my largest holding now. If we even get back to $75 oil the cash flows will be crazy. GLTA

Both companiess offer unique challenges. What does it cost for all or the majority of POU's position in NVA? How much of a sweetener would be needed for GFR? Fuz

Unfortforunately they still own 15% of the company, what does it cost you to keep them happy? You don't mind over paying as long as it's within reason. This might be a $ 3B company but not today. Fuz

I believe they are arm's length with NVA ? Just don't wan't to give up a board seat if they still held 4-5% of the new company. Fuz

- another BIG INSIDER in NVA: GMT CAPITAL CORP. (@ 3/22/2024): 20,844,000 NVA shares - GMT were FURIOUS when WATEROUS through SCR TOOK OUT PIPESTONE ENERGY {they were a MAJOR shareholder of Pipestone} - as far as I can TELL, POU has NO NVA BODs SEAT(S) - remember that POU bought NVA shares for something like 70 CENTS z173

- MEG will NEVER give POU a BODs SEAT if they BUY OUT NVA - MEG will ONLY CONTEMPLATE giving BODs SEATS to the ENTITY that has GREATER than a 10% interest in MEG Energy like they DID with the New York HEDGE FUND who got COLD FEET and SOLD z173
