Update.
So it looks like investors have a little more to look forward to regarding recovering a few pennies more. The class action suit will soon include not only going after the insurance companies ( there is approx. $23 million in insurance) and going after some of the directors but also now going after the brokerages houses (Cannacord, GMP, etc ) who helped raise monies for Wayland. These houses should have known that it was a Ponzi scheme and yet got greedy. They cannot claim ignorance as they are sophisticated operations and knew or should have know better. Stay tuned.

KerBer, are all investors of note automatically involved In the class action or is there a need to be signed up? At this point I would be happy with being able to write of the loss. As a Canopy investor as well, I’m surprised that they didn’t pick up the remaining assets for pennies on the dollar. Thanks for your posting, GLTA

No need to sign up, if you own shares you are automatically in.

KerBer, thanks for the update and for your site stewardship while most have painfully moved on. Best if luck
