Maritime Launch saved my life
Its sounds like an odd thing to say but I believe a Spaceport just saved my life. Let me explain.
The Liberal party and the awesome Premier Houston have come together to support a new Launch Control Facility & Spaceport in Canso, NS. After 6 years of studies by dozens of agencies the govt gave a thumbs up to support this amazing project. Hundreds of local jobs directly and indirectly means clean drinking water, maybe even a high school and one day natural gas. Most homes are still using heating oil or wood and we have chopped down half the trees in south Nova Scotia just to stay warm. We did get internet the other day so we can join the world wide web. The last new home built here was about 100 years ago and I am tired of running out into the snow just to do my business. More homes, businesses and jobs means tax dollars and from there the sky isnt even the limit for Canso. I love Maritime Launch and I even love all the Canso Jim copycats I have seen lately. Pretty soon everyone will want to be CansoJim living in paradise.
