Did the spot gold price break through the new magic #?
It's hard to say. I can't seem to find the answer. I did see one chart that cleary showed it did.
I guess we'll have to wait for the experts to decide. That's unless in makes another run before the afternoon is out.
I know the uptick boosted NEM's MC by about two billion in practically no time at all.
These are exciting times for gold bugs.

Im waiting for the sale of those secondary properties...to see if they bring back some of that divvy we lost.. Canadian oils finally realized that investors want to see the money. An industry that may or may not be in its twiight years has discovered that returning capital to shareholders thru divvy and buybacks is the magic sauce. Its high time that gold miners learned this lesson
