OT: Humanity is in a race with evolution.

The enormous number of covid victims in India scares the phiss out of me.  Imagine the incredible number of replications and the natural occurrence of variants due to viral mutation.  The next pandemic may be far worse and we have proven incapable of globally stopping this one.  The consequences for global trade and national employment should a more lethal, more contagious variant begin spreading in the developing world are truly frightening; and appears to be something no one wants to consider.

Pandemics always end when the population becomes small enough to hinder transmission - well then it goes away.  Herd immunity only works within a herd.  You bring in another individual from a different population with a variant that is resistant to the herd antibodies, and it can start all over again.  And resistant to antibodies the virus will for certain become, if both a high degree of replication and rapid transmission continue to be present.

Have a nice weekend.

"Health experts said India became complacent in the winter, when new cases were running at about 10,000 a day and seemed to be under control, lifting restrictions that allowed for the resumption of big gatherings. Others said that it could also be a more dangerous variant of the virus coursing through the world's second most populous country where people live in close proximity. " ...more

There are several mining journals and investment firms that have already covered that. Most of these mines are operated by companies that will protect the trained labor investments with the vaccine and a layer of procedures to minimize impact on the bottom line. We are about to see a lot more robotics (which was happening anyway) and remote operation in the field. Assume 1 to 2 shutdowns for 14 ...more

“There are several mining journals and investment firms that have already covered that.”   I couldn't know not being a subscriber, but perhaps you could cite some of these sources as I have, and have shown, an interest in the subject and wish to update myself on any recent developments.  Afterall the total impact of the Pandemic has yet to be understood, while unknown consequences ...more

I am amazed.  Your citations are the most ridiculous excuse for documentation that I can remember.  In other words, you’re full of horse shict!!! Your first reference is dated May 4 2020, (WTF) and is supposed to represent the current state of knowledge and understanding of the Pandemic?   That’s not just ridiculous, but incredibly ignorant as well.  Your second citation ...more

I am not here to spoon feed you. I have seen dozens of articles over the last year. At $4.40 copper (even at $4.00 for thatr matter) this will now be an aggressive game of musical chairs. Those who don't already have their hand firmly on a chair at the table (shares or warrants) are about to be sidelined. Let the whining begin as they fight for for a seat. N.

SNgu8000 ... it's just the market and it will adjust very soon IMO. Some people are (or were) gambling on a share price pull back after the cpnsolidation but they will soon be locked out of NCU as copper and mine progress bring awareness. I will be buying more with margin leverage when I get it. N.
