Bitcoin, what'sa up?

Since failing to reach the 43000 level at 9AM this morn, it has put in another lower high and appesars to be continuing the stready decline of the past 10 days.

If you look at the 2 hour chart on -   Bitcoin Price in USD | Real Time Bitcoin Chart | KITCO

and note the volume, you will see that at several critical times large influx of capital drove bid up.  Either tens of thousands of coin investors all decided to buy at that particular time, or one (perhaps just a few) with a position to defend all acted in concert.  Which seems more probable when repeated at critical times to attempt stemming the losses?

Personally, I dont' see anything that would give coin investors much reassurance.

1.  For someone that doesn't care about BTC, and admits not knowing much, you post a lot about it. 2.  My interpretation (yes, unempirical) is that some institutional buyers are taking the opportunity to buy BTC cheap because they think it's cheap.   3.  All the being said, thanks and keep posting as it'll save me time doing keeping up on what's happening in ...more

I have already explained that I expect some of coin’s billions to seep over into copper and that’s the basis of my interest.   “some institutional buyers are taking the opportunity to buy BTC cheap because they think it's cheap.”   That big money is supporting the market is undeniable, however your supposition that the buying is motivated by a perception of “cheap assets” is nothing ...more

After yesterday morning's third strongest buying volume of a month, bitcoin has failed making new highs!!!  If it were true that coins are attractive these prices one would expect an actual rebound, not a new lower trading range (best case scenario) which won’t hold.   b.
