Next Annual Meeting - Election of Directors

Can anybody remind me when the next elcetion of directors/annual meeting is giong to be? Electing a write in director is tough business; we will want to prepare hence the question about our next opportunity.

Last Question: Does the directors need to speak french given the plant/company are quebec based?

The BOD election sheet is sent out with the Annual Report around the end of the 1st Quarter. Elections are held during the Annual Meeting usually in May. I don't remember seeing a wrtie-in nomination section on the ballot sheet. I don't think all current Directors are completely french speaking, but could be wrong.

You do not need to wait for the annual meeting to elect a new board.  If you have enough shares, it used to be 5%, you can call a special meeting.  Noranda usually has their annual meeting in June.  Too long to wait as they will have negotiated the terms of the contract by then.  An expensive process, so need one of the major shareholders to take the helm.

It's 10 % to call for a special meeting. Unfortually, untill my private compagny is setted, i won't be able to get engaged in this process. Normally, after chrismass, it's should be done but still, it's not "now".
