Brazil’s ItauUnibanco most profitable bank in Latin America.BY LATINVEX STAFF
Although Brazilian digital bank Nubank is slowly but surely gaining traction, it continues to lose money. While the bank ranks 22nd in assets in Latin America, it ranks as the worst money loser on the latest ranking of Latin America’s top banks from Economatica and Latinvex.
 
Brazil’s ItauUnibanco remains the most profitable bank in Latin America, followed by Bradesco and Banco do Brasil.  
In assets, ItauUnibanco also leads, followed by Banco do Brasil and Bradesco.
