Where all the Jay-Bashers now, HIP surely looks to be on a run to the mid 70 cent range for starters...then factor in any good news from HEXO and it`s boom time. The A warrants are an obvious buy - hold at this juncture.

can someone take the time to explain what's involved with the warrants and how they will be affected by the transaction. Never traded warrants, but always opened to a good deal (that I can understand...) thx! For the moment, I see this and don't see 4 year shelf life, but only one (feb 28 2020)....: Number  Trading - 69,701,500  Expiration Date - February 28, 2020

Hey Bigaboon, Take the time to google what a warrant is, the explanations online are pretty darn good, here's one link to get you  started;   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warrant_(finance) Once you understand what a warrant is you need to be careful buying them with HIP as there are two warrants current listed, the original warrant due to expire in a year. strike price on the original warrant is $1.75 with under a year to expiry - risky but hugely profitable if all the stars align in your favor, each warrant entitles the holder to buy 1 common HIP share at $1.75 - so if HIP is @ $2.25 lets say - you are in the money. Same approach with the A warrants only the strike price is $1.00 and they expire in 2023 - so lower strike price and longer duration

I think the HEXO strike price on the original warrants is something like $28 after conversion - if HEXO bombs you lose - less than a year to basically quadruple - the steam will really come out of the balloon with about 3 months to go if HEXO is not close The A warrants on the other hand have 4 years for HEXO to hit $16 - but again most will start exercising their warrants any where north of $16

I don`t claim to be an expert on warrants so please take my words lightly. I`m not sure on the originals but the gap should narrow quickly if HIP strides towards $1.75 by next Feb. If the new combined HEXO-HIP entity gets to $28.00 in this time period you will be okay...just remember the .063 conversion rate. Gambling money only - don`t bet the farm, I`m loading up on the A warrants - IMHO they
