i hope it flops because if it's wildly successful, how many other canadian companies will follow suit?

Leo101  the reason our wouldn't see othe Canadian companies doing this is because they don't produce 75-80% of their production in the USA so I highly doubt others would follow suit with 80-90 % of their production in Canada lol

one name in my mind is ERF, if OVV's move becomes successful, ERF will follow E.CA.

Your entitled to your opinion leo101 regarding Encana's future stance but to hope it flops is unrealistic. Do you want it to fail because they are leaving Canada and changing it's domicile to the States? Encana makes money and is profitable and continues to lower it's costs, the issue here is more about oil and ng being out of favour with the current market and the media is posting
