Dominion Diamonds

Schocor, I have to say I am curious on how you know it was Dominion they were talking to Dec 2016. I respect your opinion and your confidence.

Thanks in advance.

Robybob You probably know I am not going to answer your question directly; but if you would for a second think about who MIGHT have been in discussions with PGD at this time, you will come up with a very small list. One might then assume that I am more familiar with one of these companies than most. The partner was Dominion Diamonds. Dominion Diamonds no longer exists because they were bought out ...more

Thanks, safe to assume you may have been in a position to know more than myself, or most others here then.... dotted line.  With that,  would say that we will be doing much more exploration, CH 44 and CH 1, and that would be required before anyone would truely be interested in us? If this is in fact the case, then raising another 10-15 million to understand other pipes better doesn' ...more

So I dont know too much about who is (might be) interested in PGD today; the list is certainly small and we all probably have a pretty good idea who the usual suspects are. PGD has a small, very good pipe in CH6 with a very good NPV in-so-far as the costs are to be believed. With CH6 and CH7 would make a fine small mine around this like Victor in Ontario. You COULD build your mini-mine and ...more

thanks schocor, I have been here a very long time, and I have participated in the financing (s). It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know I am still under water, and the prospect of raising up to 25 million to "see" if this becomes world class, at a dime or less makes me want to puke, to put it bluntly. Shelve it or a hugely bloated float is what you see in the future, cudjo' ...more

Robybob, let's hope that this time Eric has really made a deal and not just got close to signing one, as he did a few times before. That is the only way out for old timers. And no matter how much the new blood believes in this and thinks they are going to do a lot better, as long as the old guys keep selling their shares into any move, they don't stand a chance either. With the amount of ...more

RobyBob Your post talks about breaking even - and perhaps you never will. Meh But is PGD a good investment moving forward? My answer to that is yes. We have an attractive PEA and one of the few world class diamond deposits on earth. It will take patience, but I think you will be rewarded from this level.

Schocor, I am sure that year after year there are investors who, like Kaiser, will say that they wish they just heard of PGD now. For someone who invested in this under 15c it might pay off eventually, even if the Friedlands privatize it. As for the rest, the only hope is a deal that takes in consideration the real value of Chidliak. Let's hope that that is the Friedlands' goal and not to ...more

I think PGD went public at $4; this was during the diamond mining hype days (like MJ now). I don't think you will every see that level again. I guess you could sell, take the tax loss and move on. I see ALOT more value in PGD than the $~70M market cap this thing currently sports. That is all I am saying - well and that this is a world class diamond deposit in a world lacking world class ...more
