What?

Did you run out of gas on the way to your gun fight? It's Prime Minister, not Premier.

he doesn't even understand the difference between trenching and drilling - this is NOT a guy to take advice on a mining from.

If PGD as a stock would have been about mining, you would see a lot of happy campers here instead of people contemplating capitulation.

Fair enough - but when you have a guy telling us that we need $50M for Full FS NOW - then he clearly doesn't understand the steps in an exploration program (drilling vs trenching) his credibility is apparent.

The only thing that matters and no one can ignore it is that trenching or drilling, any work cost money. Money PGD does not have. The only way up is with outside money. No matter how you advance the project, you cannot advance the stock without a partner.

What's not to like here? I don't like the SP. As for the others? Maybe the asking price? Maybe that the project is not for sale? But there is obviously something not to like or we would not be looking at 14c. Let's just hope that the deal has been made already, then everything changes.

And another thing. Go and take a look at the rules for taking a company private. The days when the Pez (may he rest in peace) ruled the VSE are long gone. This thing ain't going private without a substantial payday.

As far as trenching is concerned, this can pretty much only happen in the winter. Enviromental does not allow for traversing across the very sensitive artic tundra without proper road access in place. At Chidliak the only practical means of trenching is to blast, excavate and move to Iqaluit via winter road. You can really only fly about 4 tonnes on a twin otter and a heavy lift helicopter is not ...more

thanks shneps, seems your better informed than schocor about mining in the north, and yes. there are multiple reasons you lose, what, about 50 million in revenue everyday selling us your oil at a huge discount, the main one is we are your only customer, your oil is landlocked and we have you by the short and curlies my friend, thank you. You wont even build a pipeline to the east coast to feed one ...more
