Who can help out here.
A few years ago there was a Kirkland Lake Gold prospector who was named Prospector of the Year. If I remember correctly he found the SMC zone and felt there was a massive gold ore body at the Bidgood site. Also, the ground cover at Bidgood is a few meters or soil with forest, hence the reason no finds have happened in this area until recently.
Bidgood story is a good story but it is likely the Upper Beaver story that has finally moved the meter. I believe the price bump has to do with the coming investment wave for a variety of mining opportunities held by Queenston.
As an aside KGI has been hammered lately on price yet QMI is beginning to move and the real story likely is KGI has dwindeling reserves (AEM) and Queenston have the feed. Rubicon (RMX) recently showed AEM that they were not needed, AEM need a big playing field to stretch their legs, Queenston provide a multiple choice mining platform.
Either AEM pull the pin and make a buy or someother major will step in and buy QMI, this must be the price bump we are about to witness.
Long and round about story, QMI have this prospector working on staff, who wants this player on their team.
