I leave aside the lost earnings that would have evolved from early production ....too diffucult to estimate
except by QEC.
Further......and this could be quite substantial ...QEC was in the process of Implementing a full cycle near zero-emissions, with the growing support from the Frist Nations, local town, communities and farmers which has Questerre on target for energy transformation to near zero-emission Clean gas production.
To mitigate the opportunity losses to the local communities and FN......the latter has never lose a court case in Quebec ..the Quebec Govt will hand over substantial sums of money .....hundreds of millions..to get these projects back on track on an accelerated basis .
This means accelerated approval of QEC,s natural gas production as a JV with FN and other partners .
My research sources see the above as the minimum outcomes as the Quebec Govt acted illegally outside Quebec law .
