Without a doubt RIO has been the best horse among the stable of all juniors but surprisingly not many people seem to follow the story as evident from SH activity. I do not know of any analysts talking about it ( correct me if I am wrong or have missed out). People in the know have been quietly accumulating for big gains when 2012 results would be out beating all street expectations. Good for ...more

I have to second your post,my largest position,which has been good to us. Strong and steady,waiting on third quarter,but may not be as good as the second,but pretty good,yearly results should take us to $5+.P and F chart targets a 41% rise in a year or less time frame? BWDIK  jasmts

There are at least 7 opinions out there. They range from about $5.25 to $6.75. The Average is $5.94 Source WWW.4-traders.com Rio Alto is classified as a Diversified Metal company - Copper and gold. It is more a copper company, long term, than a Gold proceducer, in my opinion. But the gold is more available up front and mining it now helps pay for all the development expenses to date and should ...more

Brent Cook likes it but didn't buy in at the time because he was concerned about the apparent low(er) grades.  In terms of analysts, very limited coverage.  The fact it is Peru and put together on a shoestring budget probably kept it under everyone's radar. For technical analysts, yesterday's action confirmed a Bottom Triangle with a price target range of $5.60-$5.90.  ...more
