Mexico is moving ahead in the 21st century

On March 19 the CNH streamlined their operations. They listed 85 oil companies who because they are the owners of areas can continue their operations without seeking further permits from the government. All they have to do is submit a form showing their activities.

This link also outlines 28 companies who have to continue applying to the CNH before beginning work on a new property. They appear to be service companies who work for several clients.

A further list of 21 companies who have 77 exploration projects do not have to apply to the commission (CNH) but will be under the supervision of the technical arm of the commission who will grant permission for all activities on the projects.

Renaissance is not on any of the lists of companies. I was wondering if they had a mexican subsidiary which might be on the list but so far have not found any information of this. Most of the companies listed are Mexican companies.

I I doubt roe wil drill any more until migration happens but you never know. It is nice to see them setting up shop down there for sure. hopefully the next wells are upper jurrasic along with the completion of the 1st one. here is ...more

Was trying to give the name of the business that ROE used in Mexico.  See if that name popped up on the list, it didn't.

In reviewing the links, it appears that the second link lists the companies that can provide 2D and 3D and other seismic info on acreage.   The authorizations allow studies of reconnaissance and surface exploration on the surface of the land or sea without granting exclusivity or rights over the study area. When I searched some of the names, they come up as companies with databases of ...more

regardless of any of this stuff, everything is irrelevant until the contract has migrated, from the info I have and we all have from boots post, roe has pretty much stopped doing anything in mexico except working on the migration, no point in doing anything until they have that signed sealed and delivered. for whatever reason or reasons it is taking longer than expected so it appears roe is trying ...more
