The good news is that DIR.un (which I am also into biggly) is responding positively to the acquisition of SMU.un - helped in no small part by the flood of upward re-rates by analysts! So a win-win: realized Capital Gain on SMU.un and unrealized Capital Gain on DIR.un. Fingers crossed that Team Turdo does not increase the Cap Gain inclusion rate ... as Jughead Singh has been advocating!
