SNDL Finally Acquires Zenabis Assets Via CCAA Process

It may have taken a bit of time, but SNDL Inc has finally completed the task of acquiring Zenabis Global. The acquisition follows the firm obtaining the assets of the company via the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act.

They are extremely short sighted if they acquired Zenabis strictly for their EU-GMP status.

I dont think they acquired Zenabis for the EU-GMP certification alone, but is was a nice bonus. Zenabis owed them $60 million - it was take over Zenabis or wait until the facilities sold thru the bankrupcty process - and hope for the best as far as recovering some of that debt.
