Dow closes 200 points higher as Wall Street aims to curtail August’s decline: Live updates @ https://www.cnbc.com/2023/08/27/stock-market-today-live-updates-.html ...  stock markets sold off llast week for a valid reason ... no need for a ridiculous self serving rally one day later as markets are most definitely in queue to implode re due diligence  ... ridiculous premarket Tuesday in the news too ... Euro STOXX 50 futures were up 9 points at 4,315 FTSE futures added 53.5 points to 7,408 and German DAX futures gained 31 points at 15,862 by 0430 GMT.
Japan's Nikkei share average advanced to a two-week high, buoyed by overnight gains in Wall Street, although continued concerns about China limited the upside.

Oil prices traded flat as worries that further possible U.S. interest rate hikes could pull down demand were countered by concerns a tropical storm off the U.S. Gulf Coast may impact supply.  Enough of the garbage rallies.
