Will have answer this Friday. I predict a cheap go private price. Not sure if it will work though as needs berkowitz to agree and he is in at $10 range. Could also do a voluntary dissolution but in that case shareholders entitled to value left over. Can't go bankrupt since no debt and no person can petition into company into bankruptcy.

Canadian department store operator Sears Canada Inc agreed to sell and lease back a distribution outlet in Calgary, and said it would cut more costs this year, as the company struggles with declining sales.   Sears Canada said on Friday it planned to slash costs by an additional $100-million-$127-million in 2016, with most of the cuts planned within the first quarter.   The ...more

If project potential 32 percent margins on 3.2 billion for year produces over 1 billion margin. Online inative and goeasy announcement and no Target positions them well for long awaited rebound. I plan to keep buying under cash ...more

I am out again. Would like to believe but last quarter results not good but their strategy I think is even worse. Too bad as has potential but a continual thawed strategy will produce reduced ebitda. Comparing to Bay also shows weakness of Sears strategy.

Under a dollar by the end of the year. But I know a lot of you are saying the company is still cash heavy - but they are burning through cash like crazy. And all of the cash is coming from selling hard asset, which in turns reduces sales. The company has no real strategy - that was lost years ago. All of their most valuable assets have been sold. They are near the end of the line. Like I said ...more
