Sale of head office lease was a head scratcher. I threw in the towel here. Cut your losses and move on. Sears had potential but I think laying off alll your experienced staff and bringing in newbies is recipe for disaster.

Stranzl and company could not cut it. Sad to see. Could have turned out different. Don't see how they avoid bankruptcy court. Same stores up and loss doubles. Funny acctg at Sears. Berkowitz lost a lot on this one. The cheap lease real estate angle did not play out. Landlord like Cadillac fairview at Eaton Centre is in control there are few buyers here.
