Ted:  Do you think Primero should try to buy this company at this bargain basement price so they can get  the Taylor project for BlackFox?

If the bulk sample surprises, then Primero will not be able to low ball the offer.

Primero is unlikely a suitor towards any St. Andrew buy out scenarios coming about any time soon due to it's capital reserves all but being depleted as a result of it's Brigus dealings. Primero is still trying to bring another mine into production in Mexico and had to resort to flow-through to finance the Black-Fox exploration drilling. Primero will buy St Andrew Goldfields....sooner or later! everything else makes no sense. and the winner is SAS respectively their shareholders.

With Gold trading up $6 this morning and looking to go higher coupled with the Primero's Book Value trading at it's largest premium to SAS's Book Value one can't help wonder if an offer comes sooner than later. Especially when you consider SAS has no debt to speak of and their recent results from Hilsop were very encouraging! What better time to swap Primero ...more

How did you or how can you verify that SAS has no debt?  While almost all the mining companies are sinking in debt. Which will put someone of them out of business. Thanks
