RE:January numbers

Eye,

I never, not once stated that Pad 1 is THE way to go. Never.
What I DID say, was that IF 1P5's numbers show a rapid improvement, say March exit of 500+, with conformance to come, THEN I'd go with ICDs on Pad 1 vs. Pad 2.

Pad 2, according to January data, is slowly conforming on its own. Slowly. But if ICDs on Pad 1 can increase production in each well-pair by ~500-600(or more) bbls, this eliminates the need for infill wells and the $51million expenditure.

IF it becomes apparent that 1P5 plateaus at lower than 50% of nameplate, then YES, I say go ahead and focus all efforts on getting Pad 2 to 6000+ bbls/d.

This is why I place so much importance on 1P5's progress. Given how fast 2P1 conformed, there is the chance that we will have conclusive evidence by March 31 exit prod numbers, albeit small, that Pad 1 will producec commercial quantities of oil. 51 million reasons for me to have an iota of curiosity on the matter. In fact, now that I think about it some more, it could very well be the reason that they will start the next ICD installation in mid-April. It could be that management wanted to see more of 1P5's progress.

Thanks Eye for the analysis. It's always good to get differing opinions, especially from fellow long shareholders. Here's a blast from the past courtesy of Deduction. IP5 once upon a time did over 150 bbls/day. -----  First the good: Pad 102  Starting to look like a real sagd operation. All the wells with the exception of 2P4 are continuing a nice trend up. 2P3 even produced ...more

BTW nike you just signed your post "Deduction" by accident.  I'll never understand why people have multiple accounts if they're not up to something.  But anyways I guess its your own prerogative.

I'm crediting Deduction - he posted that back in November 2013.
