Is Air Canada overvalued???

Maybe, maybe not..Example...Musk had agreed to buy twitter for $54.00 us. Price then dropped to $30. Plus..Musk backed out ..now trading at $40.plus,lol.Who's to say what anything is worth?Air travel is increasing, fact.Seat prices are increasing. Fuel prices are decreasing, fact. The future counts and not the past,I believe Air Canada is a major buy. Try buying a 747 for what Air Canada paid ,prices for everything is skyrocketing, this alone will drive s/p higher going forward.BUY!!!

Yes, 110% Overvalued! It's been overvalued for the longest time and it is slowly but surely falling to its fair share price. Fares haven't increased contrary to what you are saying. The value is the "potential" earnings. "Potential" customers. "Potential profits". If your a glass half empty kind of investor,I could RIP apart every stock you want to purchase in any market. Lol,be patient, airlines are at or very close to the lows...STRONG BUY!!!

Remember this....Air Canada was a $60.00 stock before covid hit,now I'm not saying it's going to magically hit $60.00 anytime soon, but covid is past for all intents and purposes and air travel is coming back fast. I see a huge spike at some point and nobody knows when that will occur but to avail of a sudden increase you must be invested, hence buy Air Canada stock today!!!! Air Canada is ...more

Wynjoe Problem of course is that AC hit all time highs in 2019!  A more realistic year might be 2016 where it was $8-$10 lol!  So why is 2019 relevant!  Pretty simple even if they were to hit eqiuvalent to 2019 all time high that number would be somewhere around $60 minus losses since 2019 which is $25 to $30 a share then account for increase share count and debt so anything around  ...more

I preface that with the idea it is only a mild recession as a couple of bad quarters and AC will be back into cash crunch territory!  Personal belief AC might do another financing in the next few months!

Cash crunch??, refinancing??, AC has stated that they will use all that FCF to deleverage and purchase aircraft , and after today's announcement, your theory just got shot down,

you are a year too late to show up on the board with this assessment.  Yours truly did this when the share price was $27+
