Currently contained to Africa but I wonder if this is going to be a problem for airlines and international travel.

Correcting myself. Just reading up on this a bit. Not contained to Africa. There are apparently 100 cases in Toronto. Vaccine available for those at risk.

There have been thousands of cases in the U.S since 2022. As you note, there's a vaccine and the disease itself is highly treatable. This will not affect air travel.
