From Headwinds to fresh air

What happens and what to expect ?

Curiously, positive external and internal factors happened almost in the same time frame.

First, the UAL results  led to an increase in all carriers; more precisely, the multiples applied to air carriers has expanded.

Second, AC has better results than anticipated, the travel market is in better shape, and they disclosed higher 2024 forecasts, better perspectives for 2025 . 

Finally, they start a NCIB,  a proven stimulant for rising stocks.

External and internal tailwinds for the SP. 

More, the investor day scheduled for dec 17 will be the next catalyst.

It’s a brand new situation.

My expectation is now 24$ or 25$ before the year end. This ride has legs.

Things are definitely looking on the up for once. I think we need to keep an eye in March for the flight attendant contract which expires Mar 31, 2025.  Depending on the situation, we may see a slight ebb early in the year if those concerns come through the news. Ultimately, AC can afford to pay and it will be dealt with like the pilots strike. I will guess 25-26 as we will plow through post ...more
