Very happy with this quote from LB from the update, hopefully a good sign for the share price moving forward: "As we continue to advance the mine towards commissioning, it is now my job to ensure that the wider investing market knows more about our Tier 1 project "

no, i think Dundee has alot to answer for the stock not performing and now they are out i'm guessing it will take some time to get the market comfortbale again with Almonty. Means there's alot of upside in this stock.  Please remember Dundee beat the hell out of us for more than 1.5 years....

Dundee beat the hell out of us indeed but for about 9 months not 1.5 years.  They started selling around june 2022 based on the holdings they list on their financials.  Before June of 2022 they held 4,459,500 shares then from June last year their position started to get smaller with every subsequent filing.  This is reflected in Almonty's  stock price decline starting in ...more

As of December 31, 2022 Dundee held 3,347,000 shares of Almonty but as we know they accellerated their selling throughout Q1 of this year. . . whois

go back further to when Almonty announced the OeKB gurentee. Dundee dropped alot of stock into that news too. That announcement was the certainity that the loan gets done and dundees repsonse was to sell millions into that news too

Dundee is for sure to blame. I'm not sure how many shares they owned, but something tells me it was over 6 million. That is a ton of shares keeping the SP down. I think that they are finished, and looks to be aligned well with our timeline as far as our progress at the mine.  Now every bit of progress should help bring back the share price to pre-Dundee selling. I'm surprised that ...more

I'm fairly certain Dundee never owned 6 million shares. From the Dundee MD&A, they owned 4.459.5 million shares as of March 31, 2021 and started selling between June 30, 2022 and September 30, 2022. The next update from Dundee should be available on or about May 11th so we will know more then.

That's the same info I was able to find. . .

I'm not sure why I have 6 million in mind, I'm probably wrong.

Isn't i s amazing how Dundee accumulated so many shares without spending a single cent.
Comment by 1dollarinto2 on May 04, 2023 11:18pm
Dundee actually spent many cents to aquire shares, from a quick google it was at least $5,000,000 that they put into Woulfe Mining. Dundee Corporation's shares in Almonty are a holdover from when they were helping to finance Woulfe Mining and owned a significant percent of the company. So it's true Dundee never invested a cent in Almonty, but they did invest in Sangdong.  I think ...more

It was long ago when Dundee got involved with Woulfe and all I remember was they did nothing except collect options and interest on their loan.  Yes they did put an initial investment into Woulfe at a cost, but nothing to progress Sangdong History on Dundee On August 31, 2012, the Company announced that it completed the brokered private placement with Dundee Securities Ltd. as lead ...more
