Smooth sailing

Oil at above $60, RBL redetermination in ideal spot. Interests rates at an all time low. OPEC cuts about to end.

Nothing is ever smooth sailing with Africa Oil :) Does the improving oil price change your mind in being able to get something out of Kenya?  Either with a new partner or through a sale?

Goldfinger .. thanks for the presentation. I will digest later Actually, you assume wrong about my understanding of AOI.  I have been a long time holder and I am more optimistic now than at any time since the early days.  I read as many of these presentations as I can...lots to be positivie about IMO. But, many times in the past few years there were times that I was excited about AOI ...more

Kenya........... ? ........  - I also would assign a value of zero to it. Probably it's getting better in the future. I also wouldn't work with authorities who are greedy if there are better places in the world. You shouldn't feed  the beast. The good thing is: Africa Oil is not dependent on Kenya. They have there hands in a dozen other good plays.  What counts actually ...more

I am not optimistic on Kenya, the only real way I see it moving forward is if a monster SSE such as CNOOC took it over. The Kenyans proved too hard to work with.
