catalysts

roasting roosting chicken

1) Gazania exploration well is drilling
2) 3B/4B farm out expected
3) Venus appraisal wells, first spudin expected end of this year
4) infill drilling in Nigeria
5) better balance sheet from sold oil in Nigeria (no more hedging, windfall profit from Equinor money)
6) 6th of Nov 2022 is a deadline for the FDP in Kenia plus TLW-Indian deal expected (hopefully)
7) hopefully some 11B/12B progress, coming closer to development wells
8) share buy back and dividends

Some of these catalysts will deliver   higher AOI share prices in the near future already. Pumping more oil and gas will pump the share price fundamentally.

Did Nigeria actually grant the license renewal for OML 127 & 130?  Thought we would get a PR on this and it would allow for refinancing of prime debt and release that special dividend or just buyback another $100 dollars in shares fine with me

   1.   Especially with oil heading right back to$120 per barrel.    2.   Possible acquiring another oil producing other concession.    3.    Possible  divadending out subsidiary to share holders.

What about liabilities like finding the $300M to fund their part of Namibia, not to mention Kenya, or the uncertainty about Nigeria license renewals. It's all wishfull thinking all I know is the the BoD said they would get $200-400M in Prime dive this year and they did not, while they cash out with buybacks and pay SH nothing.

I tried to find one sentence of truth in your post...I failed. But to be fair 12groundpounder leads not very far in the truth challenge.

If you took a look at reality African oil forming all the other oil companies latley . Proof is in the pudding and right now I'm sitting with at 40% return in the last short little while. it's pretty interesting that you were complaining about A stock outperforming everybody else. This is one by impact Project Company that has so many sticks in the fire That is the most balance of any ...more

It is important to understand Stock price. I say that simply as if a Fiduciary believes the share price to be undervalued a buy back it appropriate until it reaches fair value.  So with share appreciation comes diminishing returns. Inversely related. No one ever said AOI had to fast track its share buyback, and if you look at my previous posts 3/8 of the money spent is to cover ...more

Stop weeping FirstWorld and close your short position. We all know that prime dividends will no longer be announced through News Releases. Africa Oil will announce prome dividends in their quarterly results.  If you didn't know this you should think about posting less. Knowing nothing and posting a lot is a bad combination

Haha have never shorted, or leveraged, and never will. No need for the risk profile. My two passports (one firstworld and one second world CDN) are literally packed with global stamps that cost me $400K a year in travel....I have some insight. Was also exempt during Covid so went many places not locked down by Nazi supporters now covering their abusive tracks by ramping up Nazi rhetoric. I do ...more

Guess what if you find a few billion barrels you can afford to finance it when you share price is up 150%. Finding oil is the solution to low share price is not  a problem. you can I will leave farm out half of your interest for 500 million.
