Any intelligent well informed investors will have no problem spotting and buying great mining companies in this bull market. That isn't the key. The key will be to "Hang onto" those investments through this very wild ride. A lesser informed investor with a "tougher" resolve will do much better. Best advice is to go long and stay long on the majority of your positions ...more

Being invested in few Golden Triangle miners, I can see  that Ascot does not attract investors attention as much as the hot names as Skeena and Tudor.  Nonetheless, very impressed by AOT unassuming and under the radar screen management style. What matters to me is how Aot  is buidingt the next mid-tier gold and silver mine in Northern BC. Yes, we are looking likely at mid 2022 for ...more

Same source - last call - SAG and ball delivery mid 21 and comencement a year after. I am not sure about "at least a year" part

"concerned with this groups ability to deliver"  Cmon.  They have done ths multiple times and you are concerned with their ability to do so!!!  Sometimes it just amazes me.  Look at what Quadra did if you want to know when they have done it before.   They have engineered and ordered the Ball and Sag mill.  It is on the way.  They stated 6 months in ...more

Agree 100% with your post / timing of events. Would just like to add the potential bonus we will receive over and above the re-rate we will get once financing is finalized. Not sure if any of you caught Derek's confidence that we will exceed 200 oz/yr when discussing the benifits the SAM will have on our operation ... Engineering I believe will be completed by end of February .... Increased ...more

I got my info from the last conference call.  I guess there is no guarantee from past performances , but every sports team in the world and every business, looks for experience and the past ability to accomplish goals.  Thatb is why they sign free agents or past successful business leaders..  I see no difference here. The Sag and Ball mill are ordered, now out of our hands.  ...more

Well said. There are questions, and I'm sure there answers. At this point we all have POVs and opinions. I see nothing wrong with discussion as long as we keep it civil. Praise or disappointment should be directed at management or the project. I prefer when there is dialogue. That's where answers and unity come from.

Not upset Jaques. You are certainly entitled to your opinion.  I just think its wrong , thats all.  I also thought you missed my point on free agents and I was pointing that out.  Civil discussion as you elude to.  I just think we have beat this topic enough for me anyway.  Have a godd weekend.  Stay safe!

You totally missed my point on free agents bud.  You said past experience means squat and I said Bull.  Why do sports teams get free agents.  FOR their experience.  In any event you hate management, you dont think they can pull this off, they dont have timelines.  A few of us have pointed out they do have timelines and have said what they are.  I dont know what else ...more

Jacqueslebloc, It seems to me that you are a pessimistic, idiot! I am not happy with the current stock price, but I know that at this stage in delivery of a producing mine, the stock price languishes. Perhaps you should be buying at this time, rather than putting forward your pessimistic whining.  If you are not happy with management, why don't you sell your position (if you have one ...more

I agree that despite the zero promotion, that AOT will be a producer eventually. Will it be under a different symbol ? I don't lack confidence in the "team's ability" based on track record. I lack confidence in their ability to adhere to a timeline on this project. The amendment got pushed out from Q3 to Q4 or Q1 2021. When I was corresponding with Kristina Howe, she said that ...more

I am not concerned. I am also invested in PGM, first gold to be poored by year end PGM, one of the most exciting stories out there, has not even made its move yet. Surely it will be reevaluated in early 2021. Back to AOT, its MC is what you would expect at this stage of development, the rest would be wishful thinking.
