My interpretation:  they did not want to cut early and give shorts added momentum for a blood bath. ANQ will get a cut, but I am guessing the damage has mostly been done now and a reasonable cut of say 40% along with some confidence inspiring chit chat may shore up the share price instead of dropping it further.  I am guessing this may be their steady eddy, cionfidence inspiring plan and hope.

AQN . . .  not ANQ as I mistated in my previous post. Whatever you may think of Banskota, 131,000 shares bought @ $12+ (if memory serves)  is not chicken feed, even for him.    He may be overpaid and the Board may be overpaid in the minds of many, but coughing up 1.5+M for shares at this time, is leadership.

According to their November 2022 Investor Presenation, AQN currently has a BBB credit rating. Fitch and S&P 500 Credit Rating Agencies:  BBB     (investment grade) BBB -   (investment grade) ---------------------------------------- BB +    (non-investment grade) (highest "junk" bond rating) Obviously, the lower a company's credit rating
