There have been cases in the past where the TSX retroactively cancels past trades where some had access to material information that had failed to be disclosed on a timely basis.

Fund managers are continuously watching for any information that may be released in relation to situations such as this acquisition...I do not think that the information was released to a select few... unfortunately most retail investors are not able to follow the moment to moment movements around key decisions by the relevant authorities ..

I'm sorry, but whoever is 'in charge' of Investor Relations at AQN needs to be sacked first thing tomorrow morning. Or whenever they decide to put in an appearance.

It sounds like a shorter got greedy, and now may be feeling that burning sensation in his shorts. Just sit tight, as it's still unclear whether this has any real impact for AQN's stock price. AQN stock will be likely remain rangebound until we get an update from management early in 2023.
