Using technical analysis for this one.

Please remember that this is my opinion only and all of you guys out there should do your own due diligence for this stock. The fundamental s of this company are great, but the technical s of this stock were showing churning of it by the markets which means that less people were buying this one &  that more people were selling this one.So that you guys  should make up your own minds whether to buy it, or sell it, or hold onto it.For me it was an easy choice because it was a  5 bagger stock and its high for the year was past already.

I guess we should thank you for your sage advice but I just can't accept it as valid. You're saying people should sell a security just because it's gone up; i.e., "What goes up, must go down." More times than not, winners keep winning because they're good at what they do and they take advantage of industry conditions to secure their competitive edge and grow for the ...more

Frankly, you are a complete joker and contradict yourself at every turn.  You said fossil fuels are passe, then you said about ARX  ".There will be a flood of oil & gas supply  coming out into the world markets in 2025 and beyond,so it will be really bad for the existing shareholders of this stock."  Then you said on the WCP bullboard, a very oily company, that is ...more

Don't forget he also said this: My money went over to another cheap oil and gas stock, on the Toronto stock exchange : symbol GTE ,which is a better bargain for me with bigger leverage  I wonder how that is working out? ARX sitting about where he sold for so he'd at least not be down and be up the divi with good production revenue torque coming online this quarter. GLTY and all

So true, and that's the problem with all these geniuses constantly trying to beat the market by day-trading when there is zero control over short-term direction. We're not investing in stocks, we're investing in businesses. Find good ones and let them compound earnings over time. Why do people make it so difficult. It's why I can't stand "Look, a squirrel!" MHP. He ...more

Yeah the poo pot is over on the VET board with his pom poms out in full swing like he just won the Grey Cup. Oh yeah, AAAARRRRGGGGGOOOOOSSSSSS! The guy is repeating the same message ad naseum again only this time with the added caveat that ARX might buy them out if they are seen to be too cheap.   Yeah poo pot like VII LOL. They would be a pretty good buy for their montney ...more

Unbelievable - As if his credibility level wasn't low enough!

Jeez Quint, I just read his verbal crapstorm over at the VET board. He just can't seem to keep ARX's name out of his pie hole because he rants about it on every board he can find. Strange... What's also strange are the double standards than soak through his arguments: Dividends good for some companies but bad that ARX has one Buybacks great for others but evaporating cash for ARX ...more

Wow, I didn't go over to the VET board to confirm, but I trust your summary.  With MHP, given his rants over the years, I figure he must have had a personal relationship with ARX management that went sour and has nothing good to say about the company, no matter what.  Reminds me of the mirror website for Shell created a former gas station owner with a long standing beef and it ...more

So true, WCE. What bothers me is that there is zero recognition for everything ARX has done to get to this point. Their purchase of VII was masterful and the timing was near perfect. So then you have to struggle for a few years, pay down debt and get the share count back down to a reasonable level. Done and done.  So they've done the work, commissioned Attachie and now are in a position ...more
