Athabasca Oil Corp Prime Takeover Candidate Right Now

We know all the reasons why Ath is attractive to a larger firm.

1. Lean, mean and clean
2. Reserves
3  Tax advantages
4. Cash on hand level maintained
5. Output increasing
6. Buybacks
7. Debt lowest in history

The #8 on that list is the Entropy Carbon Capture partnership.  When it progresses a larger firm will go after ATH.

Looks good on the ESG report and there is substance to it.

ExxonMobil buying Denberry case and point.

Have a great weekend -- it was a good week.

It's certainly not uncommon for a producer to have ...more

Perhaps your computer is unable to display caps. If so, time for an upgrade. SellSideHandbook.com: "Gross Overriding Royalties (GORR) are royalty interests that are attached to a lease or working interest. The GORR is not subject to expiration or termination as long as the underlying lease is valid – however, if the lease is broken, the GORR is worthless." ATH has lots of value even if ...more

Yes, nobody is half as funny as I think I am. Thanks for clarifying Gorr for those who don't know. I don't get the crack about caps. I'm just some old schmuck banging this out on my Commodore 64. So in other words, as I inferred , the Gorr "situation" really isn't an issue here that could drive potential suitors away. It's more like a "red herring" than a ...more
