COINCIDENCE?

Anyone notice that Artis ~320m sale announced yesterday (which means it was getting pretty firm past couple weeks) coincides with Dream Office surging 25% since last Thursday April 4. Maybe some of these funds can participate in some sort of transaction in dream office. Somewhat far fetched but the timing is pretty on point

think buyers caught wind of dream office's asset sales that are coming. i don't live in toronto but perhaps there are signs downtown. or thru people who have good intel via CRE brokerages. most of it was public domain from calls/releases, even bloomberg wrote about it., but it seems more occurred. artis buying probably scared the shorts. the buying has been aggressive. but two ...more
