10 am Reveille for the Shorts

Once again the shorts took their sweet time polishing off their poached eggs and getting pumped up for another day of mayhem. They arrived at their trading desks at exactly 10 am and got right to work pounding Artis REIT.

I really ought to be cashing in on this pattern.

Sheesh! I was hoping the fox hunt would keep them occupied until at least 11am....Hard to belive that 5.5 per cent of the untis in Artis REIT are sold short. At some poinmt, they will need to stop hunting foxes and cover ;).

short covering occurred early, i can see the drop in rate fees. was hoping manji would roast them but he will let them linger on for a bit more which isnt cheap whoever the dumby was who shorted artis in the $5 range is heavily underwater not sure what the thesis is now that the distribution survived.. hope and pray for a cut in 3 months? macro winds turning against them as rates get hammered ...more
