Outside of any systemic risk, I see this bullish for reits. GFC had banks on the brink and Covid had mass lockdowns- obviously reits could not perform. A normal recession, with long term rates plummeting back to 3%, tons of buyers and M & A will get back into real estate. rates are the main reason theres limited liquidity
