Through the interest rate hiking cycle. Landlords have become cash flow negative which has allowed renters to rent for much less than the cost of home ownership. Put another way, landlords have to dump money in their properties on top of the rental income earned to
provide an affordable option for people to live. This is a sinister plot from our Government to socialize housing at the expense of people that own a secondary property.
