TSX:AX.PR.E - Post Discussion

CRAZY

"Remember: Elizabeth Warren got Jay Powell to admit that there had never been a precedent where the Fed took interest rates up as hard and fast as they did that did not result in a recession.

Until now, Powell thought he’d get the last laugh. But, the consensus today is 35-40% chance of a recession because the Fed waited too long to begin bringing down rates.

Now, the Fed will have rush their cuts, which ironically will panic markets, and pull forward a decline in business activity."

I would have cut when the unemployment rate reached 4%. If not at 4% then at the very least they should have cut when 4.1% was staring at them in the face.  https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=t.ax.pr.e&postid=35971579
