TORONTO JAY JUST DOESNT GET IT
Yes rate cuts particularly large ones are NOT a good sign for the economy. But they are the medicine the doctor ordered for REITS. Real estate buyers dont care that the GDP/unemployment is bad for a few quarters, or a year, they are 5-10 years when the financing and cash flow is right. Notwithstanding a HARD LANDING. Hard being the key word.

Don't know. What's the square root of -9?

You can't take the square root of a negative number. If you extend real numbers to complex numbers then the answer is 3i.

Sounds like an " imaginary unit" to me.
