Andrew Moffs is shorting Artis and has lost several million
His fund at Vision Capital was/is short 466,000 units from Q1. He got railroaded.

Lol he "shorted" it at $6? No doubt some shorts cleaned up at $8-10 but initiaiting a short after the REIT lost 60% seems a little dumb.

He made a bad bet for sure! Curious to see how he exits the trade. What do you mean by railroaded? I'm not familiar with the term.

Brilliant question jmk... how does he exit the short? I predict pain in this guy's future. the Artis NCIB is relentless... I sold all my Dream Office above 22 and I am redeploying it (plus some) in H&R and Artis (I prefer to own the parent, Artis, than the subsidiary, Dream).

Good question yes but equally interesting is WHEN he (and many others) unwind positions here. Not sure what the magic number is on the upside or alternatively what dip and how deep to cut losses. Either way, the sizable shorts no doubt will enable us higher........or much higher. Bottom left to upper right baby!
