Pls share your thoughts on NCIB

NCIB bought back 117,158 common units for 7.38 per unit and 1,500 E prefs for $20.55 per unit, this week.
 
*Highest recent disclosed purchase price for common units by NCIB was $8.28 in October, 2024.
 
Will the NCIB continue to bid the price up to the 52-week high, and possibly past it?

Hey Frankie. I think that question falls under the "all else being equal" category which is hard to count on. All things being equal, yes they buy into new highs, they have no choice and they are still a long way from home. First I must say I like NCIB when the company follows through on its intentions. Taking out 10% of its shares year after year would eventually show up on the units price if it is done properly. I took a few minutes to check the 24'Q3 report and compare with 23'Q3 numbers: Assets : $2 844m vs $3 735, a $891m reduction Liabilities: $ 1 230 vs $2 019 a $789m reduction Unitholders Equity:$1 ...more
