What if Danone got fed up and bought Functional Formulaire instead of Else?
They have a pedriatric formula that can be easily converted in powder formula and be commercilazed right away.


Their technology looks pretty solid.

What if management went ahead of themselves asking for the moon and lost the only opportunity to grow the brand?

If not mistaken Else has patients on their technology for  their pweder formulas. Perhaps  MajorTom can comment on this.  Cheers PB

I definitely see a lot of overlap in their ingredients and "philosophy" towards developing whole foods and plant-based nutrition.  I see them more as complementary than competing though as they have different addressable markets. There's also a big difference in the legal and regulatory process of buying a company from a private equity firm than a publicly traded one like Else. ...more
