BlackBerry Ltd > Market correction is likely

Market correction is likely

One more thing to consider. Markets are at record levels. Companies like Tesla and crowdstrike are incredibly overpriced. Biden will have about a one month honeymoon if that before he suffers the impact of the covid reality on job numbers, deficits gnp etc etc. BB will trade with the market regardless of news. Think there are some great buying opportunities ahead for the patient.

Investors and analysts have been calling for a market correction for at least a couple of years and the market continues to go up. That's not to say it won't eventually happen, but it'll happen when no one expects it.  With BB it's already trading at low multiples compared to its competitors so I'm not that worried about the SP yet.

Now that Biden and the democrats control both houses I expect the similar behaviours that we experienced in Canada with Skippy. ...more

Pre-COVID, he ran enormous record deficits that artificially inflated the market, despite guaranteeing in 2015/16 that he would easily balance the budget.  biden might not end up any better politically (will definitely be different!), but I can't see how he could be worse ...more

Agree.  Pre covid in the Feb / Mar timeframe they were predicting a deficit of a staggering 80 billion for the year. Totally irresponsible.  Saw a great tweet yesterday from Pierre Poliviere . And most people don't seem to care. I thought we were considered an educated country.

As usual, good points. However, I dont think it can be debated that Liberals tax and spend significantly more than conservatives. On the spending front, the huge increase to the child tax benefit is one example of spending money we just dont have. The 80 billion $ deficit we were about to run this year prior to covid needs an expalnation too. To be fair,  Trudeau has been fairly honest about ...more
