Contrarian Play

I am here because I think Blackberry is being beaten up by the mob with very few left trying to defend it.

The technology hasn't changed or faultered suddenly over the past few months.

The technology is ripening to a point where monitization can be considered rather than market share.

I see very few supporting the company on boards, in "analyst" papers, stock projections, etc, Almost everyone is negative.

The negativity is so overwhelming and yet the company's market share appears to be improving,

I think that it is likely that the company has been very slowly building a foundation and most shareholders have seen losses and have lost patience. Mr. Chen didn't help by being overly optimistic and then always disappointing. At least the new CEO has been wise enough to lower expectations.

With rock bottom expectations we can now possibly grow on actual results rather than false hopes.

This situation has made me curious. And for the first time in a long time I have bought the stock.

We'll see what happens.
