I am not sure if it’s your question but here my answer BBD sold Downsview in 2018 and they have to get out in three years so in june 2022 max. The Global will be manufactured in YYZ.

This is my opinion but think the following would have been the reason. Alot of Global suppliers are in Toronto and supply chain is working, so moving to Montreal or elsewhere would add complexity. By staying within 20 km of the Downsview location, Bombardier also retained all the employees. Had the FAL moved far then most employees wont move, leaving Bombardier with inexperienced employees ...more
